HIGHLIGHTS

Crystal Mosque

Located on a man-made island, this mosque is made out of steel and glass which gives it a crystal-like appearance. At night, the lights change the color of its domes and minarets to pink, green, yellow and blue.

Tengku Tengah Zahrah Mosque

Also known as the Floating Mosque, it combines modern and Moorish architectural styles and incorporates the use of marble, ceramics and mosaic tiles. Its most outstanding feature is its 125 feet tall minaret with a view of the South China Sea from its topmost tier.

Terengganu State Museum

Known as the biggest museum in Malaysia, its architecture is based on ancient Terengganu palace designs. Raised on concrete stilts above landscaped gardens and ponds, its nine galleries include textile, royal family, Islamic history, seafaring and trade, fisheries and marine life, petroleum, handicrafts and natural history.

Sultan Zainal Abidin Mosque

Formerly known as the Grand Mosque or White Mosque, its structure was once a timber palace. Since then, it has been renovated and features a colonial architectural style with bell-shaped domes, arched pillars and a tall minaret.
