Delhi is one of the oldest existing cities in the world where visitors will get to see the famous Red Fort. This is India’s oldest and most prestigious national park which is home to endangered Bengal tigers and other species of animals. Built in 1644, this is India’s largest mosque with three gates, four towers and two minarets. Climb up the 121 steps of the narrow minaret constructed with red sandstone and white marble. Located in the heart of the city, visitors will get a fantastic view of the city skyline.
The splendid red sandstone walls of the Red Fort rises 33 meters above the city of Delhi. Designed by Fariburz Sahba in 1986, this temple is dedicated to the Baha’I faith. The universal design of the temple is in the form of a lotus which is the embodiment of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam. This temple is also known as the Bahai House of Worship.
This mausoleum is the last refuge of Mughal Emperor Humayun and was commissioned by his widow Hamida Banu Begum in 1565. The tomb is strongly influenced by Persian architecture and is constructed in the center of a garden divided by walkways and flowing water.
