George Town

A declare UNESCO World Heritage in 2008 with over 200 years of history and culture where you can see historical buildings and architectural fusion designs. See cultural practices that have been handed down from previous generations. Explore the heritage trail in George Town or ride Trishaw around town, visit places of worship and colonial buildings.

Fort Cornwallis

Erected in 1786, originally a wooden Stockade but was replaced by brick structure in 1804. Was the first East India Company’s first military and administrative building. See the chapel, the famous Dutch cannon “Meriam Seri Rambai” and remnants of Sr Francis Light’s Historic landing. Today is an open-air amphitheatre, a historic gallery and relics of colonial place.

Blue Mansion

Built at the end of the 19th century, is a recreation of a typical residence of an affluent Penang Baba Nyonya (Straits Chinese) family. The architecture features Chinese carved wood panels with English floor tiles and Scottish ironworks. Around inside the Mansion are traditional furniture and works brought in from China and Europe.





Ipoh heritage trail

A walk through the compact historical old town area of Ipoh, duration of 4 miles however you can extend or shorten the walk. On the heritage walk trail you can see the Railway Station, the majestic Station hotel, the Ipoh tree specimen which the town is named after, the Birch memorial tower and many more.

Kinta Tin Mining Museum

Kampar was once a thriving tin mining town in Perak but with the slump in tin prices in the 80s ended the thriving town history. Retrace the history of the tin mining see a glimpse of the scale of the tin mining industry and know the people who worked in the tin mines.

Kek Lok Si

Temple of Supreme Bliss towers atop a hill that overlooks the Ayer Itam town, hailed as the largest and finest Buddhist temple complex in Southeast Asia. With the main pagoda of ten thousand Buddhas and comprises seven tiers. The construction took 20 years to build and to this day continues to expand





 

Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion

This mansion was built in 1880s and belongs to the illustrious Cheong Fatt Tze hence the name Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion. A traditional paradigm Chinese courtyard house with superb Feng Shui. See ceremonial halls, exquisite bedrooms and rare porcelain, sculptures and more.

Kellie’s castle

Projecting an aura of mystery, it was an unfinished residence of a wealthy Scottish planter, William Kellie Smith. The mansion was abandoned due to his death in 1926 as such left unfinished and is lead to believe to contain hidden rooms and underground passengers with tales of the supernatural.
